I instructed Knocker andFoskett on 30th May 2012 to handle the sale of my house and the purchase of my new property. I had been given a date of 22nd June to vacate my existing house which I needed to honour, otherwise I may well have lost my purchaser. This was not something I wanted to happen. Prior to this, my wife and I had been frantically looking for a new house over many weeks bearing in mind we had to move out of our existing property. We really did not know where we would be living after the 22nd June and it seemed highly likely we would have to rent. This certainly was not desirable as it was a waste of money and may have caused a problem with my mortgage term due to my age. We eventually viewed a property on the 28th May and agreed a purchase price on 30th May. Having expressed our desire to Knocker & Foskett to complete both our sale and purchase on the 22nd June, which was a tall order with a mortgage to be arranged as well and the problems that brings; we had just fifteen working days to complete our move. It was certainly a very stressful time, but against all the odds Knocker and Foskett negotiated a moving date of the 20th June which was prior to the completion date and was music to our ears and almost unbelievable. However, somehow they managed it and all went extremely well I would therefore like to thank Knocker and Foskett sincerely for doing such a fantastic job for us and would heartily recommend their services.
